The Operational Medical Director for Pipers Gap Rescue Squad is:

Dr. Jason W. Edsall, MD, FACEP

Dr. Edsall is board certified in emergency medicine.  He attended medical school at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and is currently works with Mount Airy Emergency Physicians, PLLC of Mount Airy, North Carolina.   Dr. Edsall became the OMD for the squad in September of 2007.  Since this time, he has been very active in the medical operations of the squad.  He has been instrumental in the implementation of progressive ALS protocols and has provided many training opportunities.  The membership of Piper Gap Rescue Squad feel very fortunate to have a physician of Dr. Edsall's knowledge and experience as our medical director.
